Desert Rose: My grandmother, Kittie Reed, always set her table with the beautiful Franciscan Ware Desert Rose. Reflecting on this mandala, I see myself as a child, back at her table. I picture all the wonderful meals shared and family time together.  While we're not related to Henry Reed, I appreciate sharing another Reed's work. And in the center of this series of circles I'm led to that Desert Rose... symbolic to me as a child and even more so now.
