All Things Beautiful...Through My Kaleidoscope

Welcome to my page of reflections on the mandala art of Henry Reed. Long ago, I envisioned my writing as viewing life through my looking glass…my kaleidoscope. I love the way the picture changes, with each turn of the scope. Yet, it’s always unique and beautiful. After long enjoying Henry’s mandalas in my daily email, I discovered that, beyond looking at the artwork, I was feeling prompted to write words from my heart regarding what was going on in my life. I began my own daily affirmations, or reflections…and posting them here, beginning in August 2009. ~ Nov. 13, 2011, Henry completed his 7th year -- 2,556 mandala paintings -- thus completing a circle. A new one begins. Hope you'll tune in to watch what develops in this blog space of Henry Reed, SusanGail and ATB ~ It's a journey of intuitive heart.

MANDALA ART BY HENRY REED FROM ARCHIVES OF THE DAILY MANDALA

Note to visitors of All Things Beautiful...

Below you will see my reflections on The Daily Mandala from the archives, beginning with Nov. 13, 2004...progressing gradually onward to Nov. 13, 2007, when Henry concluded his seven-year series. To see the newest mandalas, scroll down the archives...to where I first began the reflections in 2009. So, I've a long way to go before I sleep, in these mandala woods, so lovely, dark and deep!

The Daily Mandala: November 13, 2005

Boldly, I go. Clearly, I see.
Steadfast are the ties that bind me
 to all I believe.
Divine order defines my world.
My heart is set free.
All is well.

Healing Pathways...
I wander along the pathways in my healing garden, exploring the interconnections like arteries 0f my soul. Whichever path I take, whichever direction I walk... is always the beautiful path for me. My spirit rejoices in the wonder of new discoveries waiting around the bend. A pattern emerges in my heart. I smile as I see the picture being painted... perfect and unique to me.  ~ ATB ~

The Daily Mandala: November 11, 2005

A sense of anger and agitation begins this inauguration. I could go in many directions. I choose, though, to channel my primary colors. I choose to hold steadfast -- to be me, to be free, to make a difference. ~ATB~

The Daily Mandala: November 10, 2005

Flying boldly, wildly, headlong into the future I travel. It's going to be an adventure beyond description. May I fly with dignity, clarity and aplomb...all the while being true to myself, my soul, my life's work. ~ATB~

The Daily Mandala: November 9, 2005

 Feeling functional...
It's good to contemplate,to be aware each morning when you wake up that you wake as a  functional being. You are appreciating being alive, still useful, capable of performing -- aware of being operational, serviceable and still working. Yes, it's good to pay attention for a moment. It's good to take inventory: being grateful for being still functional, still aware, still believing in life's meaning and purpose. ~ ATB ~

Dancing trees follow me walking.
I'm listening... seven sisters
whispering...  creative spirit
intrigues me... I hear the memories,
 the  music  of the spheres.
All is well.

The Daily Mandala: November 7, 2005

 Life sometimes feels
like a blurry Ferris wheel ...
 spinning, whirling, streaming
round and round, upside down,
chaotic colors reeling on
wild, fluorescent breezes.
Hang on to the rail.
Trust... that a clear view
 will soon prevail.
